# Liquidity Advantage vs Orderbooks

Orderbooks fragment liquidity across price ticks; if no one quotes your size/price, you must cross the spread. SportTokenExchange aggregates liquidity into a single pool backing all trades at the current fair price, enabling instant fills without climbing a ladder of quotes.
